Our Story

A Contractor Built on Collective Experience

TrioTimber Innovations and Construction Inc. was founded in 2023 by three longtime colleagues who had spent years working across residential, commercial, and multi-family construction in the Greater Los Angeles area. The name reflects both our roots in premium woodwork and our belief that the best builds are always a collaboration.

We incorporated as a licensed California general contractor because we saw the same problem repeatedly: homeowners and developers working with contractors who overpromised, underdelivered, and went silent when things got difficult. We built TrioTimber to be the firm we always wished existed — written, scope-defined contracts, transparent communication, and founders who pick up the phone.

Today we serve homeowners, developers, and commercial clients across Greater Los Angeles and Orange County, on projects ranging from single-room remodels to full multi-family build-outs. Every project has a named project manager, an itemized contract, and a direct line to a founder.

Umit Yilmaz

Umit is TrioTimber's quality and project management lead. He has spent years developing a hands-on approach to site coordination that eliminates the gaps where most construction projects go wrong — between trades, between phases, and between what was promised and what gets built.

On every active TrioTimber project, Umit owns the quality inspection process from rough framing to final punch list. His systematic checklists, combined with daily site documentation, give clients a clear record of work and give our crew a clear standard to meet. He believes a project manager's job isn't just to manage schedules, but to be the person on site who cares as much as the homeowner does.

Barbaros Yelken

Barbaros leads TrioTimber's business development and client operations. He is the first person a new client speaks to, and the person accountable when any commitment TrioTimber makes needs to be kept. His role is to make sure the right project gets matched with the right team, scoped correctly, and priced transparently from the first conversation.

Barbaros brings a developer's perspective to client relationships — he understands that a remodel or build-out is not just a construction project, but a business decision that affects your property value, your timeline, and your daily life. That context shapes every estimate and every client interaction TrioTimber has.

Azmi Caliskan

Azmi is TrioTimber's field operations leader and project engineer. He oversees all active construction sites, coordinates the full trade stack — framing, MEP, finish work — and is responsible for ensuring every build meets or exceeds California building code from the first permitted day to the final certificate of occupancy.

Azmi's background in structural and mechanical coordination makes him particularly effective on complex projects: multi-family build-outs, room additions with engineering requirements, and commercial tenant improvements with tight MEP coordination. He reviews every structural plan before work begins and is present at every critical inspection milestone. When a city inspector signs off on a TrioTimber project, it is because Azmi made sure it was ready.

Transparent Contract Pricing

We write detailed, line-item contracts before a single nail goes in — every cost itemized, every scope item agreed in writing. If scope changes, whether from inspector requirements or client requests, we price it and get written sign-off before any additional work begins. No surprise invoices.

Weekly Communication

Your project manager sends a weekly progress update with photos.

Schedule Accountability

We build milestone-based schedules and hold our subs to them. If something moves, we tell you immediately — not the day before delivery.

Permit-Complete Delivery

We pull every permit, coordinate every inspection, and don't close a project until the city signs off. You receive a complete permit record for your property file.

1-Year Workmanship Warranty

All TrioTimber work is backed by a written one-year workmanship warranty. Manufacturer warranties on materials are transferred to you directly.

Founder Accountability

At TrioTimber, the people who sign your contract are the same people who show up on site. No sales-then-disappear. Every project has a founder who answers for it.
